Pretty Girls

mayor_samwise If Elliot Alderson wrote songs, this could be by him: "Pretty girls; I don't want their hands on me"! This is delightfully short, pretty as it is and again, lo-fi and reminiscent of the Fab 4, but who wants to hail the actions of any girls who could ignore such a heartfelt young man?

about

I wrote this in April of 2016 during a time of Tinder binge-meeting; most nights of the week I was spending my time with different girls I barely knew. Nothing would even happen between us, we would just be around each other. It was really weird. I made several really cool friends and it was nice being distracted for a few hours.

I really like that my condenser mic picked up birds from outside before the music starts.

lyrics

No light from Buckland to Bray Road.
I was stumbling around in the dark.
My heart belongs to you.

I get home at 10.
Never lonely, but it all depends on the ladies that I meet online.
They waste their time on me.

Pretty girls, but I don't want their hands on me.
It feels wrong to move on from us, so I'll just lay around.
