The 3/4 meter lightens the singer's embarrassment at a new and strange interaction, while the bell-like sound gives an almost childish, carousel-like sound to it. I love the "your cat" line especially. I can picture it!

about
This song is the layer of cold on your body when you first get under the sheets of a vacant bed. It's the struggle of acquainting yourself with a romance you haven't been intimate with before. It's the excitement and anxiety surrounding a new body. With the song's 6/8 time signature and arpeggiated triads, and a wall of three voices that are each triple-tracked, I tried to capture the sweeping, dream-like vignette that floats around the memories of a new romance.
lyrics
Flying up to the hill where your mom lives.
The past two weeks have been enlightening; your low-rise jeans on the floor.
Your cat looking at me in the bathroom, catching me at my most vulnerable state of body and of mind.
Shivering and twisting on the floor.
I can't remember the last time I had you all to myself because you're busy on the days we spend together.
I'm never feeling right about myself or I.
Tumbling back down the hill, back to my house, with my tail firmly between my legs.
You won't see me naked again.
